Brownie Cookies

Brownie Cookies

You're standing in line at your favourite coffee shop debating the eternal question, "Cookie or Brownie? Cookie or Brownie...?" Well ponder no more, I have the answer! You have to try these Brownie Cookies from ihearteating.com! They have that awesome crackly top and chewy fudge texture that makes a great brownie but in the size of a cookie. If you need a chocolate hit, these will definitely do the trick because they are seriously chocolatey. I can't say enough good things about these. I've always struggled when making traditional brownies to get that perfect texture, I tend to dry them out, but I've made these cookies twice now and they've come out perfect both times. They've gotten rave reviews from my friends and family, too. I gave one to my in-law's to share between them the first time I made these. They came to find me a few minutes later begging for more because they loved them so much. You can't ask for much of a better reaction than that.

The recipe suggests cooking them 8 - 10 minutes but I baked them 11 - 12 minutes because then they get just a little crunchy around the edges which I like. Also, if you do the tablespoon and a half size scoops that the recipe suggests you'll get cookies as big as your face so I downsized mine a little which just meant that I got more cookies out of a batch.
I hope you all love these as much as I do! - Kayla T.
